Members and visitors from home and abroad are most welcome to Corrstown Golf Club. Located close to Dublin Airport, the Club boasts a superb parkland twenty-seven holes. Each hole has its own unique blend of beauty and difficulty. Consequently, we guarantee that your golf game will be tested to its limits.
The River Course fuses both length and difficulty with water coming into play on many holes. The course has 3 par 5s, the 2nd being rather special. The Par 4 7th is a great test, having a narrow landing area and extensive bunkering close to the green. The short Par 4 8th can yield a birdie or indeed a double bogey if one is too ambitious. The Par 3 9th with water lurking short, front and left of the green is a most beautiful and difficult finishing hole.
The Orchard Course takes its name from the old apple orchard of Corrstown House through which you approach the 1st tee box. This, the first nine holes built, was constructed on rolling pastureland and makes clever use of the natural terrain. The Orchard has matured beautifully and is considered by many to be the jewel in the crown. The short Par 4 1st sets the tone on a course that places a premium on club selection and accuracy. Uniquely shaped bunkers, waiting to punish the slightest flaw, surround some of the greens. The 2nd, 5th and 9th are both beautiful and a superb test of distance and accuracy.
The visually benign Par 4 1st on the Meadow Course lulls one into a false sense of security. However, “out of bounds” lurks both left and right. The 2nd hole is a superb Par 5 that yields very few birdies, being protected both front and right by water. The Par 4 4th is a very beautiful hole and provides a great challenge, in terms of length and accuracy. The final 4 holes constitute as difficult a finish as on any parkland golf course, with the ultimate test being, to the water surrounded 9th green.
